About Bihaku-sen

In 1998, a new hot spring vein was discovered 1,200m underground, 1.5km from the coast. Rare for a coastal area, this alkaline simple spring is low in salt and calcium and is known as the "hot spring of beauty." Rich in minerals, its clear, gentle water gave it the name "Bihaku-sen" (whitening spring). Enjoy it in Kosai-no-yu and Kazasumi-no-yu, on the 3rd floor of Tenyu-kaku.
