In summer, nothing beats a swim right from GIMPASO. From spring through autumn, SUP and sea kayaking are also popular ways to enjoy the ocean. Year-round, you can enjoy fishing, the Hashidabana and Matsushima promenades, and strolls along Palm Beach, taking in the rich scent of the sea. The contrast of cherry-blossom pink against the ocean blue is a sight unique to the Nishiura Peninsula. Nishiura Park is also a favorite spot for sunset photos, and in autumn its fields turn golden with tsuwabuki flowers.
